Apple today paid tribute to its founder and visionary CEO Steve Jobs with a memorial celebration in the amphitheater at its headquarters, 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA.
Employees gathered by the thousands in the open-air amphitheater on campus to view a program that paid homage to Jobs. Board member Al Gore was present and singer Norah Jones, a friend of Jobs’, performed as did soft rock group Coldplay. READ THE FULL ARTICLE: TheNextWeb

Now that we have had the long awaited announcement of the Galaxy Nexus smartphone, comparisons are obviously going to made on how it fairs up against Apple’s recently announced device, the iPhone 4S. After seeing Google unveil their device – which device takes your preference?
Both smartphones carry impressive hardware specifications for sure, and also features which make each device unique. The iPhone will become a big hit thanks to their innovative new Siri voice features, while the Galaxy Nexus will be the first device to run on 4.0 and will have a nifty feature called Face Unlock allowing users to unlock the device using facial recognition only – although we didn’t see this on stage yet.
